Hey Pat.

Good question - I dont have a clue lol. I did hear that a low pressure goes in a direction prependicular to its warm front, so I hope we dont get left in marginal temps and less precip, and the damn thing slides east lol.

nah I'm sure its pretty nailed on now - maybe 2 foot instead of 1 ? :good:

Well hopefully the NWP models are simply overshooting the dew points, good luck in any case!

And yes anvilhead certainly looking more intense than initially modelled, and starting to grind to a halt

As Ian said yesterday, regional variation will be a nightmare

Looks to me as though the valley up through the bristol channel into cheltenham and gloucester could see some pretty high totals with some re-inforcement from the bristol channel

SK

you think bristol channel will help to add inforcement for bristol to !!

yes I was thinking between 1-2ft

Even John saying things may change with depth's...I was taking he meant deeper, but I might be wrong..

Maybe a 1963...or 1947.not a ramp, but surely its happened once could happen again

Can anyone confirm that it is snowing at Boscastle? Have just looked at the weathercam there and it appears that it is. Never thought I would see snow there! :D

Hmmmmm

That radar is showing it a little too west for my liking.

I suppose we will soon find out.

Probably get a small flurry then thats its for this week. It doesnt look anylike liek it did on the charts

City At Night yep right up through bristol and up the 'valley'

6z GFS is peculiar to say the least....less intense snowfall but across a much wider area and for longer....it sets in just after lunchtime and doesnt stop until after lunchtime tomorrow

The next NAE update is the one we're waiting for now....for me the crucial one by now it should have things fairly nailed...id expect to see things a tiny bit further north than on the 0z, maybe by about 20-30 miles or so

It was about 7am,temps have risen to 1.7 c Dp 0.8 c,just had a shower of sleety-soft hail mix and winds are now off the sea so a tropical day to come compared to yesterday's 0.2 max.

Dogs, This is gonna be a close one.

Charts say it *shoulds* be snowing now, However my main consern is when it gets around here that low will form and pull it away from us.

I hoping the charts are still correct for it to form and increase PPN around here. However i feel the main threat may of moved.

I hope im realllly wrong.
