Morning again matey, have you seen the radar, stream of cloud to our NE keeps getting so close but yet so far, now one bubbling up to our south, hardly got any nails left here!

I'm at work in Benny Hill at the mo so I may get it before you. Roads are still treacherous around here:

Few flurries this side of Peterborough, looking at the MetO Invent looks like a big bad heading towads us, then looking at 12pm on same indent it curves completely round us!!!! Hahahaha Theres a law about that! Still fingers crossed for something substantial here.

Which side of Peterborough? We're still getting odd flurries here too .

Interesting there seems to be a small but potent shower in the north sea heading straight for Chelmsford. The thing that I find interesting is the direct that it is coming from ENE. There is another shower which is also heading for chelmsford from pretty much a northerly direction. Anyone able to explain?

Its because there is a little baby low just out over east anglia so showers wrapped around that.

Coasty, damn you made it into work today then :-(

Another band coming in now and seeming to follow a similar course. Landfall at Herne Bay (ish) and then Southwestwards, seems to be a pattern.

For you Eastbourne chaps, you should be getting it soon - started here in Staplecross about 10 minutes ago. Not very heavy yet but looks like it means business. See that the streamer is quite narrow - might be worth drawing a line from the NE Kent peeps getting decent snowfalls through my position to see where it's going next!

A band of showers to the North of London now starting to move in. Looks like West London may get a bit of snow, hope they intensify when they hit the city.

Continuing to get light snow here as well. Only tiny flakes but it is coming down quite hard - enough to dust the paths. Still, it's better than seeing nothing at all!

Edit: flakes much bigger and coming down quite hard. Weird, because there's nothing on the radar. Anyone else having this issue with the NW radar? I know when the snow is light, it doesn't always pick it up, but for heavier showers it should?

Aah right :). It's not snowed here for a good while now, although we've had odd grains floating about most of the time since 8am...
