Snowed lightly here at 0530 hrs leaving a dusting

I take my hat off to Peter Cockroft on the BBC London program for getting this forecast spot on

snowed lightly in Greenhithe this morning, then the cover increased (all be it thinly) on the way into the city

Just heard M23 northbound between j 9 & 8 is being closed due to sheet ice and snow, too many crashes!

Cat woke me up at about 4.30 a.m , was pleasantly surprised to see light snow falling and a light dusting on the ground, here in London SE12.

Kids just woke me up from a deep sleep to tell me we had a light dusting, was not expecting that at all, nice suprise.

Not sure if we are due anymore from this northerly, met office 6-15 day forecast mentions us getting hit at the end of the period but it's soooofar away at the moment.
