It helps when the course's are fun, some are very boring!!!

It's not so busy on here now the snow risks are lower, looking forward now for the temps to pick up and hit the water smile.gif

Tell me about it. Thought someone this morning said local weather in Bristol was going for snow showers at the end of the week?

Would love some warm weather, it was pretty nice yesterday afternoon in the sun though (finished at 3.30 whistling.gif )

There has been a nice couple of days in the sun..very cold wind today though!!!

It's nice when the chance to knock off early comes along smile.gif don't get that chance very often fool.gif

Last night the weather reports on Sky News were forcasting sleet/snow around Bristol/Wales nearer the end of the week...don't know if thats still on or not!!!

Lunch break!

Frost this morning, -1 or so the car told me.

Some of you may have read TEITS theory of seagulls indicating an approaching cold spell but has anyone ever heard about 'full moons'?

A friend of a friend heard from a meteorologist that the number of full moons in a year indicate a good or bad summer? Last year we had 13, this year we are due for 12, good summer?

I hope this is true - I do NOT want to camp anymore in the rain!

Too much drinking and guy ropes are not a pretty match.......

Shocking frost last night with an over night low of -5.2c and once again there is more damaged plants to bin at work! Agapanthus have been slaughtered over night! doh.gifcray.gif

I only started Kayaking last year, where i live i can be on the river in 10 mins and its approx a 6 mile trip to the coast. It's very difficult in the sea, but it's great fun.

4.5 degrees here

My week for standby again...can't go to the pub doh.gif

Wow it was cold today with top temp at home of just 2c and min of -6 ground frost is still in shady parts all day.

At work it maxed out at around 4.2c

Current temperature is -0.1c and falling fast so is it possible for a minus 7 or lower tonight maybe with lower day time numbers? dry.gif The plants at work are in a grave state after todays cold. wallbash.gif

Evening all!

Left for S'oton at 5am on Friday and it was a whopping -8.9C, not sure what it was over the weekend, but had lunch outside at the marina on Friday in the sun and then a few drinks in the afternoon. Saturday night was bitter though, even after plenty of vodka to try and warm up!

-1C at 5.30 today on the way home.

We have had 4 superb days in a row with only Saturday having cloud, but even that was broken to allow sunny spells. Some very hard frosts and the shaded ground is frozen as is shaded water in places!

Unfortunately the low cloud is invading from the East and I can see the leading edge of cloud to the East now, besides that the sky is crystal clear. Hopefully if it has to be dull from tomorrow then it won't be damp too, although I do wonder if freezing drizzle is possible given how cold the ground is.
