It looks to be fairly unsettled across some parts of the country during the second half of September, with rain or showers at times mixed with drier and brighter periods. The rain should be most frequent in the north and west over Scotland and Northern Ireland, with perhaps more in the way of the drier periods towards the southeast of England. Temperatures should be mostly around average for the time of year across the country, perhaps occasionally warmer in the south of England and Wales.
