Harry you was spot on!!

This storm is a big one , the photo's you kept showing i thought was the stuff i was already under... but it was a new cell that formed west of ashford

Divergent motion now very evident on radar (if you refresh the feed). Gone supercell - a swift left-mover....? They had a good supercell there back in July 2008, I recall.

Ive missed out today and yesterday! not one bit of thunder im hopeing as its getting dark out to my SW that something is comming but ive pretty much lost all hope now!

The stormshield holds strong. :wallbash:

Been raining here now for about an hour, not very heavy. No thunder and temperature has now dropped to 16.3c. Everything so far has been either 10 miles to the east or 10 miles to the west.

Cant see much happening here now.

This is what that cell looks like now - wish I was under it - look at the updraught on the right handside, almost perfectly vertical.

Darkening to the west, though sun is shining straight at me so I can't see.

Yep, bulleye for Ashford, it heading off east now, some nice bangs and some lovely structure as it approached.

WOW! that is an amazing storm structure! looks liek you live in the great plains of the US with a storm like that! nice!

What's that little cell that's moving through north kent?? , seems to be following the coast.. Also looks very intense

The intense little cell NeilSouth is the towering Cu you can see in some of my pics (off to the left)...they look like they are part of the same system, but in fact it's the other cell.

This is what the E Kent cell looks like now - it's been fantastic sitting here watching it evolve.

Just saw the MOGREPS prog charts for Tuesday.... the rainfall prob >10mm that day looks like offering a right soaker for a fair part of the West / West Mids / Wales....
