there's one hell of a storm coming towards me. Really powerful sferics and the deepest subsonic thunder I have ever heard nearly a minute after the sferic. Must be huge possative CG's. It's now starting to rain heavierly as well

even though its past sunset , that monster down south is still going! :shok:. Manchester Airport reporting thunderstorms in the vicintiy btw , not surprsing tbh

Edit : If anything kicks off in the lake district or that monster reaches the lake district , things could get interesting for this part of scotland. As i remember last year tstorms breaking out over NW England and reaching here about an hour and a half/2 hours later. Knocked out the electricity , phonelines etc and caused the local river to flash flood.

Anyone reckon I'll get anything?

Sorry I have to say this but it's all heading North East, I don't think you will catch this monster cell I am under now, but I think something may spawn around your area tomorrow instead.

I didn't expect a storm today tbh.

You're all so lucky up there, you know that?

Tomorrow should hopefully be my day, since more Eastern areas should get in on the action. Does anyone else rate my chances? If I don't get one tomorrow, bad things will happen to my mental state. ;):wallbash:

It's been looking dead black south of here for the last half hour, ie .towards South Lancs and Cheshire. Not heard any thunder yet.

Pressure is rising well.

Still waiting here. It's raining, but there's no thunder or lightning yet. Don't tell me I'm going to miss out altogether - I'm so close!

Sounds like the NW Storm has died out suddenly. Thats what happned here on the 23rd September last year. Very frequent flashes and thunder and before you knew it, all had stopped. No more Thunderstorms from now on i dont think for tonight. Good luck for tomorrow now. :D
