Looks like SW parts and S parts of London are going to get a bit wet, much needed rainfall. SFERICS showing on the lightning detector.

well no lightning action here.. normally you can see the lightning flashing away south of me... but its all dead, and by the looks of radar the storms seem to be decaying as it moves north.

But they may pep up once the start to hit london area due to the city warmth.

So gonna stay up a bit longer just to see what arrives, and may happen.

Just so you can all get an idea of the current situation, here's a quick grab from the v4 radar to show the current guestimates from the GFS output.

Too tired to stay up now. The good news is that it's absolutely peeing it down here now! I will leave the window open and hope to woken up by thunder and lightning. If not, a lie in tomorrow. Night all.

Wondering about this stuff that's currently heading into NW France out of Spain... Looks interesting for those in the south over the next couple of hours perhaps?

Yes mate, a lot of those strikes are orange, so about an hour or so old. There are a few white (recent) ones though, but not as regular as they were

Oops hang on a minute, ive just looked at the radar and there looks to be some convection covering a large area just to the south west of us.
