blimey!!! looks like the whole forum gonna be up all night with storm reports..lol

radar starting to explode across northern france now.. all on course for southern england :drinks:

Absolutely spot on, those south coast folk should stay up all night and those folk in france will be up all night. :yahoo::help:

Latest Sat24 grab shows exactly what you mention nanu :acute: and some of that is heading our way.

Yep mate, talking about snow, why hasn't the limit of how many posts i can make been taken off? i'm limited to 25 a day i think.

Probably worth giving a member of the permanent forum team a pm re. that...I'm only on board the team during the winter months :)

A very good NAE 18z for here which just about chucks every bit of rain and thundery possibility right over here. However it seems to change rather alot on the NAE especially.

However i think quite good agreement that those who saw storms tonight will be similar areas that may see them tomorrow night.

Can see lightning to my west from here every minute or so, probably somewhere over Devon, along way off though. Is there nay more due after this batch or will this be it for the night for me?

lots of action to come, but just alook at saturday night precipitation GFS looks like the potential for another very active night!! this lots is likely to be electrified, looking at other data i would expect an MCS to form..

i know its a bit tough to judge.. but would u say thats on a london bound course or probably gonna shoot up the western side of london... or miss completely??

It (the large group mid chanel S of Ventnor) seems to have slowed down but it was heading North when I last noticed movement so if you do see it it will be to your SW.

Did you print out an image and then photo it?

Did you know that the Prt Scr button next to F12 will take a screenshot of what you can see on your screen?

You can then open up something like paint and click Edit -> Paste ( CTRL+V )...

I,ll have a go, the last time I tried to copy java script I failed at that, so I "auto piloted" the print and scan

this thread moves so quick I bet its 40 pages along by the time you read this

Still thunder and flashes to my E and SE some flashes from the W too.

Here are the four shots of lightning here in Somerset I've got so far this evening :

One of them has to be the longest bit of lightning I've seen!

Some nice pictures there, very clear too, nice one!

Not too great here, had some flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder but not much rain has fallen and it seems to have passed...

Those latest radar echoes have given a few spots of drizzle- this is good for nobody. The farmers want proper rain, I'd like a decent storm for once but a clear starry night (and sunny weekend) would do nicely for me and many others too.

Just NOT yet more tedious cloudy rubbish while virtually everywhere else gets good or interesting weather- please, just for once can somewhere else miss out on everything?
