Lots of dry weather to come across the Adriatic Region and the Balkans today. A showery day to come across Turkey. Fair and dry across Germany, Poland and the Baltic States. A fine, mostly day across Italy with heavy showers in the far eastern Mediterranean where it will be quite windy.

Sunday

A fine day through Portugal and Spain today with lots of sunshine. A few showers through the Balearics and this extending into northern Italy too. Most of the rest of Italy should be fine with good spells of sunshine, and this dry and fair weather extending into Greece and Turkey too. Plenty of sunshine to come through France, with a few showers in the Low Countries. Showers will affect northern Germany, but the south should be drier with sunny spells here. Cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. Low pressure will be centred over Scandinavia. This brings severe gales to Denmark, with cloud and rain through Finland and the Baltic States too. Windy throughout Sweden and southern Norway with some heavy showers.

Tuesday

Spain and Portugal are mostly dry and bright on Tuesday, although with a few showers towards the south of Spain. A few showers may also affect the Balearics, although well scattered. France is fairly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain in the north, some heavier bursts. High pressure centred near the Black Sea brings dry and warm conditions to Greece and Turkey with plenty of sunshine. Also warm, but more cloud in Italy. Showers in the Low Countries, whilst Germany is dry with partly cloudy skies. Dry weather also extends through Switzerland, Austria and eastern Europe. Rain affects northern Denmark, plus southern Norway and Sweden. Breezy in the Baltic with a few snow showers in Finland.

Wednesday

Another fair day across Spain and Portugal with showers in the east clearing. Rain affects southern France and northern Italy, with some snow in the Alps. Drier in the southern Italy with sunny spells. Dry and pleasantly warm in Greece, Turkey and the Balkan states. A drier day for northern France, with patchy showers clearing from the Low Countries. Northern Germany is dry, whilst rain and snow affects the south of Germany. Snow also for the Alps in Switzerland and Austria. Outbreaks of light rain and mountain snow continue to affect southern Norway and Sweden plus northern Denmark. Further north in Scandinavia it is drier and brighter.

Dry and bright for Spain and Portugal on Wednesday with just a few scattered showers in the east of Spain and the Balearics. Rain and heavy showers affect Corsica, the south of France and northern Italy. Snow in the Swiss Alps, also extending into western Austria. Drier in the southern Italy with sunny spells. Dry, warm and sunny in Greece and Turkey. More cloud but dry in the Balkan states. Dry and partly cloudy for northern France. A few showers in the Low Countries. Germany will see cloud and some drizzly rain, clearing later. Eastern Europe is dry but with a lot of cloud. Showery rain in Denmark with light rain and snow also affecting southern Sweden and Norway, drier in the north.

Rain spreads into north-western Spain and Portugal on Thursday, turning heavy. Southern Spain should stay dry and warm with some sunshine. Warm and sunny in southern Spain during Sunday. Cloudier further north, with rain in the north-west of Iberia, becoming widespread across Portugal by the evening turning heavy. High pressure extends fine conditions through the western Mediterranean; sunny and dry in southern France and northern Italy. Showers affect central and southern Italy. The Balkan region is more unsettled, with low pressure bringing heavy showers to Greece. Turkey is drier with sunshine, although showers developing in the west. France is dry and mild, breezy in the north. Dry and bright weather also extends across much of central Europe, including Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Breezy with more cloud in the Netherlands and Denmark. Windy across Scandinavia, with heavy falls of rain and mountain snow in western Norway. Drier for Sweden, some snow in Finland.

Monday

Rain pushes south-east across southern Spain on Monday morning, becoming patchy and easing to showers in the west and for Portugal. Drier to the east. Fine and sunny weather extending across the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Also fine in Italy, with just the risk of a few showers developing. High pressure to the east will keep it dry but colder from eastern Germany through Poland into the Baltic States while snow is expected across Russia.
