Tuesday

Southern Spain and Portugal will have a fine day on Tuesday with sunny spells. Some rain for northern Spain. Southern Italy will see persistent and occasionally heavy rain, with wet conditions across the Adriatic and the Balkan states. Showery rain affects western Greece, whilst Turkey should remain dry. France is likely to see a wet day with persistent outbreaks of rain, although clearing from the west during the afternoon. Rain spreads into Switzerland too later in the day. Austria will have some sunny spells but with rain in the east also affecting Hungary. Germany will have a cloudy but mostly dry day. A few showers in northern Germany and Denmark. An area of low pressure brings wind and rain to the Baltic coasts of Sweden and Finland, with snow over the mountains. A few showers affect western Norway.

A fine day for Iberia and the eastern Mediterranean. Showery rain affects the far south of Italy , through the Balkan states and Greece, with the threat of showers in western Turkey too. Breezy but mostly dry conditions for most of France, with some drizzly rain in north-eastern France. Outbreaks of rain affect southern Germany plus Switzerland and Austria. Patchy rain and cloudy skies affects Poland and Hungary. with some heavier rain in Ukraine. Blustery showers affect Denmark and southern Sweden and Norway. Outbreaks of rain affect southern Germany plus Switzerland and Austria, heavy at times. Patchy rain and cloudy skies affects Poland and Hungary. with some heavier rain in Ukraine. A few showers affect southern Sweden and Norway. A few wintry showers in northern Sweden and Finland.

Fair conditions affect much of the Mediterranean with spells of warm sunshine in Spain and Portugal. Italy is dry and bright too, although a few showers may persist in Greece. More cloud for northern Spain and across into France, with outbreaks of rain in northern France, also affecting Belgium and the Netherlands. Cloudy skies for much of Germany with patchy light rain in the north, and also extending into Poland. Brighter conditions for Switzerland, Austria and Hungary with sunny spells. A few showers continue to affect Denmark and southern Sweden and western Norway. Wintry showers also affect north-western Norway.

 

Friday

 

Cloud and some showers affecting southern Portugal today, with some cloud extending into central Spain. There will be cloud and some showery rain in central France, although heavier rain to come in the Low Countries and northern Germany. Brighter spells for southern Germany and Poland as well as Switzerland and Austria. The Mediterranean looks to be mainly fine. There will be good spells of sunshine across the Balearics and through Italy too. More sunshine and dry weather to come in Greece as well as Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania will be chilly but bright. Showers, some heavy will be affecting Denmark and the west of Norway. For Sweden the day will be dry with good spells of sunshine, although daytime darkness is beginning to descend on the far north. Bright for the Baltic States but some showers across Finland.

Today

An area of rain is expected from northern Russia across Belarus into northern Poland, Germany and into France and northern Spain. Heavy showers are forecast across Portugal. Cold but dry and sunny across Norway and Sweden with rain across Finland. Rain clears the Baltic States then dry. Generally a dry but cloudy day across Belgium, Holland and Denmark. Expect a good deal of dry weather across southern Poland and across The Adriatic Region and across the Balkans. Just a few showers for eastern Turkey today, dry in the west. Dry as well across much of Italy and across Scilly. Fine across Sardinia, Corsica and the Balearics.

Outbreaks of heavy rain are expected across western France with eastern France fair and dry. The Greek Islands and Turkey are dry and warm however. Outbreaks of rain also affect the north coast of Spain and western France during the day, with a fresh breeze. A cold and unsettled day across much of Europe. Severe gales and rain will affect Britain. Northern parts of France, Belgium and Holland should be dry for much of the day before rain sets in during the evening. Some heavy snow is likely across the high ground southern France where a strong mistral will be blowing with heavy snow across the Alps. Some snow to for the far north of Spain with much of central and southern Spain and Portugal dry and mostly sunny. An area of rain will stretch from northern Russia through the Baltic States down across Poland into Germany, Austria and into Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. Cloudy with some light rain as well across Belarus and into the Ukraine. Most of Romania should be fair and dry. Some heavy showers expected across Greece and the far west of Turkey. Most of Turkey should be dry with sunny spells. Across Italy there will be some showers and these will be heavy extending westward across Sardinia into the Balearics. It will be cold but largely dry across Norway, Sweden and most of Finland. Quite windy today through the Mediterranean.

It continues rather windy and cold across much of Europe. Much of Britain should be dry and sunny. Unsettled across France with some rain but snow across the high ground of south and across the Alps where it will be heavy. A few showers to come across Belgium and Holland with the risk of some snow across southern parts of Germany. Northern parts of Germany along with Denmark should be fair and dry and this dry weather stands across into Poland. Northern parts of Germany along with Denmark should be fair and dry and this dry weather stands across into Poland. Rain continues in southern Europe

Tuesday

Dry and sunny weather for Portugal and most of Spain on Tuesday. A few scattered blustery showers in the east of Spain, with some more prolonged falls of rain possible across the Balearic Islands. Northern Italy is mostly dry, but outbreaks of rain affect the east of the peninsula with some snow over high ground. Gusty winds in southern Italy too. Outbreaks of persistent rain and mountain snow also affect the Balkan states, Greece and Turkey. France is mostly dry with sunny spells, although there may be some wintry flurries for the Alps, extending into Switzerland and Austria. More cloud for Belgium and the Holland, with some patchy light rain. Germany and Poland are dry but chilly with some fog patches. Windy throughout much of Scandinavia, with persistent and heavy rain, plus mountain snow for western Norway. Wintry showers for Finland, brighter skies in southern Sweden.

Wednesday

Heavy Snow

Today

Cold with heavy outbreaks of snow across Norway. Rather cloudy but dry across Sweden with sunny spells of Finland. An area of moderate to heavy rain will affect Denmark, far north of Germany, Holland and Belgium. Most of France will be fair and dry as will central and southern parts of Germany. Some snow may affect the extreme southern part of Poland, otherwise a dry day with sunny spells. An area of heavy or snow will affect most of Russia, Belarus and the northern half of the Ukraine. Southern Ukraine should remain dry. Expect some scattered snow flurries across Romania, but a dry day to come across Bulgaria, the Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans. Western parts of Turkey will be dry and mostly sunny with rain and snow showers across eastern Turkey. Heavy showers or some more longer spells of rain will affect central Mediterranean from Sicily across to the Balearics. Apart from the odd shower, most of Italy should be fair and dry. Still quite cold across Spain, but it looks fine and sunny. A strong easterly wind will prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar.

Saturday

Much colder across eastern Europe today has temperatures plummet to below zero for highs. Some zero temperatures are also affected across most of Scandinavia. Generally cold again across much of Europe. Heavy snow is in the forecast for Finland a dry day across Russia and the Baltic States. Some light snow is expected across Belarus into southern parts of Germany across into Austria and the Alps where it will become heavier. Northern parts of Poland will be wet with rain. Some snow in the far south of Germany as well with rain in the extreme north. A few showers to come across Holland and Belgium today. Most of northern France be fair and dry as will England. Mostly dry across the Balkans and the Adriatic Region as an area of heavy rain runs up across Greece, the southern half of Italy into Sicily. Unsettled across western Mediterranean as well.
