Hmmmmm 0% risk of thunderstorms for me tomorrow according to netweather. WTF?

Same for me. Maybe they had a coding mistake or their software had a error.

Quite a bit of Ac cas has suddenly developed here. Clearly a boat load of instability in the Mid levels.

Hoping for French imports visit our shores on Monday night, homegrowns, like most British things, let me down, French storms rolling in across the channel is hopefully what the MO are hinting at for the home counties.smile.gif

Have now had time to compare some models and tomorrow is looking like it could be one of the best days for many years.

So with this is mind we are setting up near to Banbury tomorrow and will chase from there all the way until we need a Boat.

If this verifies and does not downgrade in the next 24 hours we could be seeing something pretty spectacular for Uk Standards

clap.gifI like the sound of this..........yahoo.gif...........I'm only 30 miles from Banbury, (and five minutes off the A 421)

Despite my best knowledge not to get too excited about this... I am rather lookign forward to tomorrow! :D We seem to be in a decent position to see some storms, hopefully.

Strom chance on the NW forecast for my area has also gone up to 85% for tomorrow also.

Fingers crossed that everyone gets to see what they want some time today or tomorrow!

Looking good for Kent for tomorrow evening, we've been pretty stormless so far this year so it could well be catch up time!!

Cumulus clouds to the west are towering.

A lot of cumulus here too, some of them building into some larger structures.

Nick F has issued a warning for potential storms for today, if the GFS is anything to go by then monday and tuesday look worse though. Some very negative lifted values and some high CAPE.
