What do you guys reckon Estofex will go with for tomorrow - I am going to go with a Level 2 for much of England :good:

Possibly, but it's not without the realms of a Level-3 given the potential for drift from North (East?) France to clip the SE corner. At least a Level 1 though - for E Anglia, Essex, E Sussex, and Kent.

Same here

Canon Fully Charged, Sony HD Camera ready for the possible MCS! Laptop, Inverters all ready to go.

Will be using Netweathers V5 Radar tomorrow which overlays the Storm onto it with Maps in the background, our position will be given to me from the GPS (Arron) in the 2nd Vehicle as back up with 2 way Radio Contact between the Cars. Streaming will be done via a 2nd Dongle in Car 2 which will be beamed live to Netweather in Full HD

Showers now sprouting up around Tyne and Wear. Surprisingly it's all coming from sheets of cumulus and stratocumulus, of the sort that we often get up here from warm moist south-westerly flows at all times of the year- some cumulus cells are taking off into cumulus congestus particularly as they head into the North Sea.

Reached a surprisingly high 25.9C here earlier.

Bet you wish you were back at UEA for tomorrow, still looking surprisingly good

Preparing cameras and kit - ready to go out and about over next couple of days, very exciting forecasts! Saw some altocumulus castellanus earlier (well I think it was, still get some cloud types mixed up) and other high level cloud but now it is completely blue sky here :) good luck to all those who chase and let us hope everyone has some interesting times and things to report soon! :)

mid-level CUs blocking any view of this cell some 30miles to the Northwest from here, a shame as i'd have a prime-spot here in the hills watching its southern flanks initiating. Looks nice on the NW radar though.

Just got in from Otterspool, just on the Mersey estuary where I was watching the clouds develop. Started to rain from one, and they seem to be developing nicely over lancashire as they track in. Lancashire lass may see some serious weather shortly !
