I actually prefer the cold more than snow. I would rather have minus temps all day and night in and frosts rhan see snow all the time. At least then it feels more like it should do.

I'm opposite really, just want enough snow so I can build another Snowman like the last two years lol.

Really dull, dreary day here in Oldham, oh of course it's raining slightly too!

If we didn't get snow I'd be quite happy with frost, just not rain - I hate it!

:smiliz23:

:p Don't think we can ever get a day in Oldham without just one drop of rain!

Feels lovely and mild outside with just a moderate breeze.

I have a very high cold threshold, I can go outside in a t-shirt until it's around 2-3C.

Nothing interesting to report weather-wise, I suspect the regional forums will begin to die!

Snow :o

Hmm, I won't hold my breath though.

A similar forecast for Oldham;

Although I do think it is pretty accurate perhaps at the moment, apart from maybe the forecast for Christmas Eve which appears to disagree with the Met office by some 3'C.

I think the rain/snow forecast for the 28th and the 29th is certainly plausible though; especially over the hills.

GFS continues to show at least some sort of cold around the first week of the new year.

A bit of week consistency but temperatures each run have certainly been below 6'C, the latest run shows a high of 3'C on the 5th of January.

Anyway, Oldham seems to be magically and mysteriously avoiding the rain; for now; as of Midnight.

I'm sure like always the noise of rain crashing on my skylight windows will wake me up before dawn!

Its two years ago today that we had the snowy Sunday with snow showers rattling through.

Now we've got 10c and milder westerlies. All traces of last Sunday's snow has well and truly dissapeared. Oh well, maybe January/February will have more of a bite this year.

Oh Hedgehog, you said RAIN! Naughty list for you then! ;)

Yet another horrible day again! I'm fed up of taking the dog out and sliding in the mud. YUK!
