Is it me, or is the area over East Anglia very slowly working towards our region?

Well, hopefully Yamkin is correct and some of us do get some bonus snow. Not sure about it causing mayhem, but who knows?

I hope so, it does appear to be moving towards the Eastern part of London though.

Temp in Warminster has gone up to 4.2c from 3.4c 45 mins ago so not good for snow!

But with humidity at 79% the dewpoint calculates as -8.4c!!

You sure your calculation is correct? Filton weather station giving air temp 4.9c, Humidity 80% dp 1.8c??

Heavy, Icy rain - some fat wet flakes mixed in now

Heavy, Icy rain

Ditto here now! Ice is going to be the main hazard come the morning I think!

There's a few fat wet flakes mixed in with the heaviest stuff - but you have decent height there - might get lucky.

Huge flakes appearing now!

Proper fat wet snow now! First I've seen this year :smilz38:

:drinks::drinks: nothing here yet. so close yet so far...

I hope we don't get to much rain out of this because my remaining snow patches on front lawn are looking fragile.

There is some very vey light precipitation out there at the moment, so light it is hard to tell if it is snowy or drizzly but although it's a balmy 5 deg with a 3.9 dewpoint, it feels v cold
