Don't think there is any chance of ANYTHING here.. no land mass for convection to initiate. :'(

Seems most of the action is to be around the West Midlands, Chesire Gap, Lincolnshire running through down to the East Midlands & Later EA.

At the moment I'm in the "GAP" once again, for Yorkshire we need showers to start forming NNW of us.

Some impressive cloud tops out there today, good look all and those of you chasing stay safe! :)

If you guys get pictures, and/or videos of storms today, even if there's no lightning but plenty of rain/hail etc, send them to me and i'll put them on our website :)

Edit* Just had some hail stone in Hull and heavy rain.

Things starting to bubble up here, i can see some very dark clouds over Buxton area.

Edit.

Just started hailing, and wind picking up a little.

Edit.

Mod/Heavy rain now.

Seems to be a mass of heavy stuff bimbling down the Aire Valley towards Goole at the moment. Everything is seemingly skirting around me..

(Drax Power station is producing the small white blob to the lower middle of the right hand edge)

Someone south of Crewe is having a good lightning show looking at the RADAR and Sferics, I could see the cell in question only a couple of minutes ago but has now been obscured by some mid-level clouds moving across locally. Looked impressive even from here.

Kicking off now in the North Midlands drifting ESE/SE wards.

A Very impressive anvil on show here towards Oldbury way by the looks of it but given its size it could be much further away!
