Howling and heavy ice pellets coming down here, not sure if it leans more towards sleet/hail or freezing rain, its hard to tell as the winds so gusty

Temperature hovering around freezing now though so no ice day boo.

I wonder if the thicker colder air is weakening the intensity of the precipitation. Am hoping that lovely red blob has Northants name on it.

Possible that precipitation may well intensify again as eastward movement of the front slows/stalls?

Just been out for a walk just in case the changeover happens soon so I can enjoy it one last time!

The main road through Wordsley is very quiet now...but cars on it are having to crawl. Certainily still coming down well though.

Wonder how long we have left before it all washes away?

Snowing hard here in moderate sized flakes and actually drifting!!! I haven't seen a snowdrift for over 10 years?!!!

Some of the drifts against walls are almost a foot deep!

Yeah its been a while hasn't it, long enough that Im getting good novelty value out of it anyway.

Wow that sounds interesting. Fingers crossed it actually verifies. Is it just one model suggesting this, or all three of the main ones?

Also around 5 cm here in Bewdley. Temp now up to +0.2 °C, and it's just starting to feel slightly wet, but it's still snowing.

Looks a good couple of Inches in Cov, don't quite understand why some fellow Coventrians are unhappy with this:
