there is some heavier ppn mixed in there. we just had a light-medium flurry under what according to the radar is the lightest shade of blue/red.

There's also a whole chunk of ppn north east of norfolk which was on the radar earlier and which is now disappearing into a kind of radar blind spot..

Not bad here in Leytonstone, light to moderate fluff still going and recovering cars, grass and rooftops, patches of concrete starting to succumb too.

Snow is settling properly on cars, roofs, grass and on the patio in the back garden, topping up what we had from Saturday. Not really settling on the roads or pavements (except on top of where we had some compacted snow/ice left over).

Pleased with this so far. Already a lot more than I was expecting - which was frankly not very much!

Despite snowing pretty heavy, it will not settle on roads/pavements. In fact they seem to sdamp for any possibilityof the snow settling. Yet, the cars and roofs are very white now.

Phew - managed to get internet connection at home fixed - just in time for me to be able to get on line and check the radars out as to where this bonus snow has come from!

Been snowing light - moderately here in Bexleyheath for around 1 hour 30 mins. Nice covering on everything other than the roads and pavements. Lovely jubbly
