Cloudy and damp here today.

Meto are also forecasting cloudy conditions to persist through much of tomorrow. Hope not otherwise it is going to be a very short sunny spell indeed.

Still possible storms on Sunday though!

A reasonably day here, took a while to get going as was cloudy all morning and didn't properly clear up until about 2pm but felt nice nonetheless with a surprising high of 25.8C here this afternoon despite not feeling hot. Let's hope tomorrow and Saturday can at least be 'sunny'.

A foul evening and night and not much better this morning. St, intermittent rain, temp 17.5C with a SSW wind 17mph gusting 30.

Pulses of rain, heavy and thundery in places, are expected to move northeast during Friday to affect parts of Wales and western, central and northern England.
