Getting some dark cloud bases bubble up here in crawley, seems to be getting more humid too got 3 fans racing in here, doesnt help with all the computer equipment, audio mixing eqipment and server pumping out heat lol.

Seems to be something bubbling up to the north of me, radar showing something near redhill, can see top of something which has bubbled up in about same time as appeared on radar, just over the roof opposide, bearing in mind that houses behind are uphill, so looking up and iover, cloud top looks quite tall.

I was expecting to see some showers appearing on the radar now but still not happened yet, there were big looking Cu developing NE of Carmarthen as I drove back an hour ago, still not turned into showers though.

Skies look very dark over here at the moment, did have a brief spot of rain a few minutes ago.

If something develops here, MetO are a bit out, but i'd let them off

It's so, so humid out there. Horrendous.

That tower over Redhill is shooting up even more, obviously broken the cap as I can actually watch the clouds growing. Base getting darker also. It's also getting dark just to the south west of Crawley.

this is strange.. got so many dark bases around me, that it looks like each one is competing for dominace.. and none of them is winning.. lacking something out there to make them spark and get active!!

Cloud just seems to be building, there are multiple cells likely to form from what I can see - maybe it may merge into a MCS?? Doubt it very much but that would keep them going longer. But I guess if there is convergence there is likely to be some shear??

Nothing much going on in Redhill now - it's probably going to explode just out of hearing distance just to annoy me

I'm just getting a feeling right now that if something were to kick off here seems to be a pretty good location.

Well it was supposed to be cloudy and cool here today but it is wall to wall sunshine and a temperature of 22c. Yes its cooler than yesterday but still very warm.

No chance of storms here though, at least not today. Maybe tomorrow though.

To be honest I'm not sure at all now that i've just seen Darren Bett and his miserable forecast, looks like a bust now with even tomorrow not showing nearly as much activity as was forecasted previously.
