Been drizzly all day here in Lochcarron when it was supposed to be dry. Hairy Celt what do you mean by HC as it is looking quite stormy here on Monday into Tuesday.

Very nice day, followed by a very chilly but clear evening, just in from a vino run, and car reporting 10ccold.gif

Might risk the lawnmower at the weekend, but then again a round of golf in Forres night just scupper that idea!

Wet.

No bright breezy and dust flying currently 17c .This is the best side of the Firth to live on with S wind. Thankfully all straw baled into round bales yesterday otherwise we would have to go to Aberdeen to bale it because of the wind today

Very wet

Threatening to be wet but certainly breezy.

First leaves starting to come of the trees aided by the wind.

Partly sunny and quite warm - not at breath of wind.

Ditto on the first bit, fair breeze here though.

Off today and trying to decide whether to do some earth moving/digging in the garden.

Still have some stone wall building to do at the front too.

Title is a bit misleading, but a good video nonetheless.

Some analogs to previous horrendous summers within.. SST's contributing to that Greenland high for me is more of a key factor than the Arctic Ice cover. Some thoughts that Higher SST's in NW Atlantic assist Blocking..

Seriously crabbit today. On at hubby to consider selling up and moving to try and get a bit more enjoyment out of life. 2 years - unable to put gazebo up, 2 years unable to grow tomatoes INSIDE a greenhouse and now probably another mild, wet winter approaching. The seasons are all running into one in east central. Anyone want to buy a hoose? Drizzle since noon yesterday has finally stopped but still mostly cloudy.

You want knobbish neighbours?

Seems like we're getting some of the better weather so I'll keep out of sight for now.

On the subject of neighbours.

The local farmer who owns the land around the group of 5 cottages where I live described all the residents of said cottages (who all get on really well / nice little community) as 'neighbours from hell'. Yes, that's all of us, everyone in the cottages are neighbours from hell.

You see what happened was he sold the cottages but then became angry that people had the audacity to come and live in them. It was like he didn't own the cottages anymore.

Anyway, he's moved to the west coast and the farm is now being run by a farm manager which seems so far a much better arrangement.

We had a community BBQ to celebrate.

Sun out here, warm with a light breeze. Gardening time.
