hi electric

Cheers JP, read that, i just thought that if the battle of cold and hot air-that causes a a strong jet with hot to the south and cold to the north, then if these air masses become more spread out so less extreme differences then this would weaken or shatter the jet allowing high pressure as well as if it moved north?

hi electric

i agree with you what you say

if it weakens and during july the atlantic slows down it should

give us an easterly which at this time of year is fine

all we can do now is watch what happens

better go bed now or my mrs will kill meexcl.png

goodnight

Thanks JP, i think there will be a pattern change, hard to get but it should do! It's ok round these areas in the way of warm days, i don't feel it's been to cold, rather cool at times, been very wet and really a windy month, at least two gale force days.

A week of deep blue skies and some towering but isolated clouds, calm, and very warm would be great! then some nights storms at the weekend and then same again..

Lovely day here in Ipswich. Sunny but a tad cool in the breeze. Off to look at show houses then to a music festival so hope it stays fine. :)

Supposed to be TSs here on Wednesday. Fingers crossed. :)

Sunshine hasn't been the problem this summer but the same problem as last summer, where temperatures can't get above 17C and there is a strong wind, meaning that sitting outside is uncomfortable with light clothing, and it repeats day after day.lazy.gif

It started sunny here with lots of bubbly white clouds but it’s ended up overcast and now the clouds are about 50 shades of grey! According to Derek the Weather Sheep some places were going to get damp later…. and he was right pardon.gif

Overall the weather was pretty good here this weekend, so could get out and about. In fact most of the last week has been fine here, with hindsight.

Looks like it'll go downhill again this week, but maybe we'll get thunder after midweek.

He is hoping to set up his own web site soon. However he is a bit worried he might be fleecing the public or being accused of pulling the wool over their eyes. A top lawyer in London is advising him who is a member of the Baaaaaaaa.biggrin.png

MK, I thought you were referring to Derek Brockway, Welsh BBC forecaster and general 'character' who is on Twtter as 'Derek the Weather'. Given he is very Welsh, the sheep bit seemed suitable! We see a lot of Derek on Welsh TV when we are down in Pembrokeshire, 3 or 4 times a year, let's just say he is very experienced at forecasting rain - in fact here he is on a typical summer's day:

Well EA is supposed to get some action round about Wednesday but I'll believe that when it happens. Yes, except for a couple of light showers it's been nice in Ippy. :)

Murray make it on court tomorrow? weather looks wet for SE

I imagine they'll keep the roof shut on centre court so presuming he's scheduled to play on that court he should be fine. smile.png
