Stupid bin days! that is twice now, I have looked to the sky expectantly only to realise it's the bloody wheeliebin!

Having said that it does feel quite stormy out there today even if it is going to miss us.

Well here's your front:

Dew points are way up but does the temperature down in the grass give us heat rising into the atmosphere?

Best time around here looks like 4 pm:

But the CAPE has been cut in half since yesterdays forecast.

Well here's your front:

Coast, that is not an image of Lauren's front, I think you have that one elsewhere. blum.gif

gottolovethisweather in Sunny Newbury, where it's currently 21.1c AT, 16.3 DP so still sticky, no fronts around here, warm or cold.

So, what's that in the Channel off the IOW then????

Could end up a Kent clipper (don't say that too quickly)

As per usual, where I live (in South Buckinghamshire) we will get bugger all I guarantee it.

Good thunderstorms are a thing of the past, if we get a good one today/tonight/tomorrow/sunday (we won't) then everyone on here has my permission to laugh at me.

Because it just won't happen....

Humid and cloudy but I can't see anything developing.

Oppressively muggy here now and some clear patches of sky forming which are letting the sun through. Dew point up to 17.2°C what we need is a storm to break this now!

But you aren't in an area likely to get any today really!!!!

You know I don't give my 'fronts' out for freewhistling.gif

Anyhoo, is mighty humid out there and deadly still, almost like the calm before the storm.....except without the storm.

They're all moving north-easterly to Belgium, Netherlands...

They do 80% of the time.

I guess our weather patterns have changed since the 1980/90's as people said on here a warm spell meant guaranteed storms. I think pattern shift in the jet stream is probably to blame instead of the jet stream heading north over the uk (or close by) its just heading in a east/north east direction meaning anything that forms in france goes the same direction.

We could have seen some serious weather if it wasn't for that pesky cold front, really is annoying.

Remember them days when the lot of that would be surging its way towards us. We're a far cry from that now by the looks of it :(

I'm going with the 20% then and I wouldn't be so sure this time. Could get very interesting on the box later with possible imports over London or not?

Check out the latest Sat24 animation. clapping.gif
