Warning points? What are they? Have I been naughty?

Was on the Affric hills again today and surprise surprise it bladdy rained and was quite cold and windy but at least no sleet like last time.

At a small scale, shows (in part) why our hills look so colourful at this time of year...

Has anyone else noticed a plethora of mice etc in gardens?

We've got loads running around. Cat is having the time of his life (and SS is getting rather tired of dealing with the wee gifts he brings). I'm not sure there are more of them, but certainly more active. I'm seeing them running around all the time; quite unusual for me anyway.

Maybe preparing for a big freeze? biggrin.png

Step up and do your duty for Scotland Northern Lights!

I think we can use red agricultural diesel too as we are ploughing the road!!!!!

Cracking morning here. Clear skies, low sunrise nice and crips.

Off out to coach kids football and shout encouragement at a group of sleepy 11 yr olds.. Much similar to posting in the model thread after the 12zs.

Fine weekend weather. Some showers passing through over night for the NWest on NMM.

Warn points are visible to folks that have had a message from a moderator in the past, other users cannot your own or if you have any.

Another cracking sunrise and a sharp bright morning here... Not a bad start to October at all and the outlook looks good too.

Ditto the above! Went out for my run this morning and it was lovely and fresh, all though chilly-willy running through the fog! Just started to cloud over here, hoping this will pass by quickly. Looking like we might see a few dry days over the next week, which I for one will enjoy!

Glorious morning sunshine and clear blue skies right now, warmed up to 9C after a minimum of 5C a few hours ago. Should be a cool but lovely October's day so it's worth making the most of today and tomorrow.

Lovely day here with sunny periods and the odd sharp shower. Harvst totally completed yesterday with last field of bales gathered in. Another calf overnight so nearly half here.Hope to see most calved outside before we take them in sometime in November. Combines still nibbling away at the last of the crop in the area,at least the weather is still fairly benign.

Some light cloud about here just now blocking off the sun. Felt warm earlier in shelter from the breeze. 11.8c currently from a low of 2.8c this morning.

Fantastic dusk right now with red/pink cirrus clouds. Temperatures hovering around 10C and should begin to drop pretty soon - it'll be interesting to see how low it gets tonight.

Still a little frost lingering. The most beautiful sunny day too. Yesterday was not so great with cloud filling in for most of the day but not expecting that problem today

No idea if there was a frost earlier as we have no grass and didn't get up until after 10am

Cracking day now, looks like it will be nice all week until Thurs/Fri when the rain arrives.

Superb morning, cold start, an icy tinge on the shed roof and all a layer of frost on the car.

Wee wander round Edinburgh Park with the kids this morning to see the ducks, swans, other various that ashamedly cannot name.

Perfect row of Horse Chestnut Trees in various shades of yellow, orange, bronze and gold.

More migrating Geese on the horizon on the way back, wish I knew more about migratory patterns - anyone got any useful links??

Wee photo attached of brilliant Autumn colours. Pic quality not greatest due to phone being mince.

Lovely sunny day here too. Tempos have just hit double figures from a low of 1c.

Lots geese overhead early doors as they moved away from their night stay down at the Tay Estuary.

Here is one link from the Beeb about the migrations and where to see them.
