"I’m seeing some hot pixels and various smears in SDO images, but not comet ISON" says Phil Plait.

 

Aparrently no sign of ISON has emerged from behind the LASCO C2 solar disk, if so that is final confirmation comet ISON no longer exists.

Nitpicking but meteor shower. Meteorites and meteors are different.

Compare the brightness before final approach a few hours ago

 

 

Probably just the vapourised cloud of the remnants?

Looking at this image you can still see Ison and this was only 30 mins ago, Something is telling me Ison is still Alive
