It is really yucky here in NW1. Looking out of the window on the 27th floor London is shrouded in low cloud. definately a day for not venturing out for lunch.

I am going with the wife to a farm near Craven's Arms, the gateway to the Welsh Marches on Saturday, returning Tuesday evening. Please get rid of all the bad weather before I arrive! Enjoy your break.

I had a lovely walk, it had rained earlier but the sun was coming back out and the birds were singing, everything looked so lush and green and there was an amazing smell of damp foliage and earth....

Didn't quite get the scenery as you MK, as I was stuck on the A10 after I had run out of fuel, thought I could make it to the petrol station :(

Been light rain and drizzle for much of the day here, recently stopped though, but a murky low cloud day and feeling chilly. Autumn definitely showing its grasp recently.

It's raining here now not proper rain it's that fine persistent stuff that is more than drizzle but not nice rain if you know what I mean !

drive carefully and make sure you have enough petrol, don't you go running out as well !

Horrendous today, got drenched. The drains could'nt cope and the manhole covers were lifting all around town. Definitely a stair rods day nea.gif

I hope you haven't jinxed the weather for us getting your hair cut, it always rains when I have mine done so much so I have started issuing an advanced weather warning !

It's a marvellous autumn day here and I have a big chunk of free time right in the middle of the day....I need to find myself some way of keeping out of mischief for a few hours...oh what to do angel.gif

Can't see temperatures getting to normal levels for quite a while because of persistent northern blocking. Looking to be below average for long time yet.

Yes the mid term looks noticeably cooler and could have a low CET for October if it continues. Interesting to see, even though northern blocking might not give us perfect cold and snowy conditions (this early in the season) can still have a signigicant effect on our temperatures and some hard frosts by night.

Same here, I had a dream MK got our first snow on the 15th November this year which seems a bit early but I'm going to a gig that night and in my dream I came out of the theatre to snow falling so we will see what happens.

Meantime anything exciting that Mother nature would like to throw this way like storms, wind, torrential rain she can give me her worst..I'm ready angel.gif

Or a very strong wind.Yes, I know they can be dangerous but ideally there would be NO casualties. Just the excitement of the stormy weather and the odd dustbin rolling around. :)
