Morning Angel and morning all. Currently 10.7c here with the promise of rain. I hope it stays off until after lunchtime.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, and congratulations to Surrey on the job front. Well down here in Hastings this morning is a complete contrast to yesterday.

The azur blue skies and unbroken sunshine of Wednesday have given way to slate grey muck and the radar is showing some heavy rainfall not too far away. There is even the possibility of a thunderstorm or two in the mix later on. This could be an interesting day down here.

Have a good one all. BB

I have a screensaver dilemma this morning, I normally change my picture several times a year to fit in with the seasons they are always photographs that I've taken myself but I've just realised I'm still on a very summery picture and I really should change it to something more seasonal, the question is do I bother with this....

Mornin each. First-well done Surrey with the job interview. Fingers and everything else crossable is crossed for you. :)

MK, I think you should go straight for the winter photo going by what's expected weather wise.

Have a smashing day everyone. :D

It had to be done...the bottom one it is then. I took that photo about a 10 minute walk from here but it almost looks as if it could have been shot in Iceland.

Am off again today... watching the rain come down, Feeling a bit fed up as i'm desperate for a weather station but as I live in a top floor flat this has proved near to impossible... I've attempted to contact our freeholder to ask to use what was our washing line pole at end of garden but she's not replied..... i guess i have to just accept its not going to happen. rubbish.

Good news from The MK Parks Trust....

''So many people are loving the cows that we've decided to leave the cows as they are and restore them after Halloween. We've also had lots of people offering to help us re-paint them so that we should be able to do this at very little cost "

…..see more of the cows on the ITV Anglia News tonight !

It sure is dark, dank, miserable, grey, damp and depressing. Anyway, that's enough about how I feel today, the weather seems just as it did in most of the 80s/90s autumns, albeit without the wind. Back in those days, men were men and women were glad of them. rofl.gif

Bins lids indeed.

The women may have been glad back then, but they ain't too happy about them now, then. You seen the news lately?

Latest warnings:

London and South East England, valid from 15:30 for quite a long time probably, certainly until after dark and probably on and on for hours if the truth be told.

A persistent and deeply irritating outbreak of incessant drizzle is likley to annoy the hell out of people living in these areas for much of the rest of what is, frankly, a bloody miserable Thursday. Whilst rain amounts will be slight the public should be aware that irritation levels will be disconcertingly high and there is the risk of localised sobbing, sighing and general carrying on. The drizzle is expected to fade really slowly, and frankly selfishly, away and eventually to be replaced with clear skies, but as it will be dark by the time that happens it's a bit of a waste really. The public should take extra care during this period of monotony and follow the guidance here: www.whattodointediousweatherwhenyouarestuckintheofficedealingwithnonsense.com
