Good morning people, feels balmy out there at the moment compared to previous days.

Didn't realise how easy it was to post photo's on here to be honest.

Well, BB, if I can do it anyone can. :) These are lovely photos.

I've got a few to post, but they're stuck on my old desktop pc, which is on its last legs - luckily I managed to copy everything to a spare HD the other day - the pc won't even let me back up conventionally...

As the photos are so large (memory wise) I can't just post them straight from the pc, so need to spend time converting them, without the pc crashing. I'll retry again tonight, if I'm not out.smile.png

Thanks for that. I'll look at it when home. I've got to convert some from RAW format too.

I know how do add pictures (I think!) but I don't have a clue how to post a picture from the internet. Can anyone help me with that (what's the better I feel stupid when I find out how easy it is blush.png )

Click the picture box in the posting section:

post-6667-0-97051500-1352374450_thumb.jp

It opens up like this:

post-6667-0-38440500-1352374468_thumb.jp

When you find an appropriate picture on the web, right click on it to gets its properties and you will end up with a file that ends in a .jpg a .gif or maybe a .png. Copy the picture link then paste it in the box. Click 'OK'.

Bingo, you've hot-linked to someone else's piccy and are then costing them thousands in bandwidth!!!

On a different note, The Met Office long range outlook caught my eye as they've started to talk of the possibility of "well below average" temperatures end Nov/early Dec. Without wanting to get carried away, I seem to remember them using similar terms around this time in 2010 so it looks interesting.

For those more knowledgeable than me is that suggestive of a Scandi High? Hoping this is the case as from an IMBY point of view.

It's what it reads like to me, or at least a high positioned over northern Europe, particularly as they are also saying drier, with more sunshine too.

It's turned quite cloudy over the last hour here. Boring stratocumulus. I'm hoping that it'll clear soon / later today, but it seems more extensive than the cloudy interlude yesterday lunchtime.dry.png

It's turned dark and gloomy here as well after a lovely, sunny start.

I haven't done any payed work, but I've been doing work that I adore; writing and blogging. :)

It's gone really gloomy here too !

I'm off to sort the freezers out in the garage now...just as Oates famous last words 'I may be gone for some time'
