Ignore raw output. Modified NAE has been shunted a tad northward as a nod to GM and EC solutions so we'll still talk of light snow on northern edge up to about M4 (ish) until sight of new GM and EC progs to have better consensus on this (or not).

However, trend has been to keep it all further south anyway and make much less of it as a feature re wintriness.

Thanks Ian.

I presume this little feature is going to get tweaked north and south etc right up to the event as often is the case. One of those situations where too far north and we could have a rain/sleet event and too far south we don't get any ppn at all. search.gif

P.S. fromey I got a head start at moment tonight. -2.7c blum.gif

NAE re-modified again now back to the raw version based on new GM - so no real issue Thurs re snow etc. Perhaps a bit far south (Dorset uplands etc.).

Gee it's -2.2c already! That's a 1.4c drop in 90 minutes. Sometimes having fog prevents it dropping too far so will keep a watch through the evening.

Currently -1.4c here in Newbury, after reaching a Max of just 0.4c, shamefully just dodging the rarity of an ICE day. cray.gif

No "snizzle" in my part of Frome...... But very cold.... Not looking forward to the drive into Bristol tomorrow morning at 6am, especially with no heater in the car.....

Nah, nothing at all (just off Locks Hill) - just got back from the car, as I just put some towels over the windscreen...... Weird how it can "snizzle" in some parts but not other parts of one town.....

Ha this freezing fog is fun.

Theres a place near me ( coopers edge ) that gets quite thick fog in certain parts .. Must be to do with the hills etc.. Anyway, There must be a good 1/2Cm of the stuff on the roads and cars and pavements. Its just like snow.

I love it, All the trees get covered. Everything is white ( You can even see it falling. Its slightly heavier than normal foggy snizzle. )

It really is going to be a cold one tonight even under thick fog its dropped to -3.6c already.

Probably partly due to the fact everything is frozen already so less latent heat escaping from the the ground etc.

No snizzle though fool.gif

Currently -1.9c here and foggy. The frost didn't melt from this morning so I think the grass will be superbly crispy by the morning and will prob look like there has been some snow even if there hasn't!

Lowest night time temp last night was -3.3c and i'm thinking tonight will be colder.
