Already 2c cooler than the METO predicted.

Pretty cold for us here on the coast it has to be said.

With another 5 hours of cooling to go, I'm hoping for a -7c.

Coldest night of the winter so far here.

Certainly the coldest since last winter, ice day of shade frost on grass/roofs.. evening dense fog formed fast everything icy, late evening paths/roads white with frost and freezing fog, tonight the freeze is really quite extreme. All we need now is a snow shower!

Yes, certainly a bit chilly!

Temperature -4.0, dew point -5.4.

Colder than any night in winter 2006-07 or 2007-08. And the coldest it's been in the past six years without there being snow on the ground.

Very cold for me being on the coast -4.8 only goes that low here few times in winter,fog has cleared where i am.

Good morning all. A bit nippy down here on the South Coast ( Hastings ), but no fog and no precipitation. Im reluctantly returning home to nw London around lunchtime so hopefully any fog will have cleared by then.

There was some nice convection just across the Channel yesterday, a sight more commonly seen in summer, whn they get all the storms

Still no fog here ,clear sky's about 20 mins ago but clouds rolling in from the west now,everything white with frost .Take care on the roads guys .

-4.0°C on the driveway as I was scrapping the screen and down to -6.0°C on the outskirts of Benny Hill this morning, but clear of fog thank goodness. Glad I ticked the heated-seats option box!!

Pea souper at work near Heathrow, 60 flights cancelled, the freezing fog has left a nice heavy hoar frost on everything though.
