Saw a few showers in Folkestone today, rain sleet and snow.

still think like you that the small low will eventually head north east

over the uk

chance for you tonight if that lot in the channel decides to head slightly

further north

as for thursday there is still that chance of an initial undercut

the low keeps weakening on every run and the flood issues seem to be receding

re the outlook i do not mind seeing a few atlantic days as 18z run last

night and now the 12z show an interesting and snowy christmas

look at the flow towards the southcoast at 0600hrs tomorow, next the precipiation for 0000hrs-0600hrs:

The ppn shown along the s-coast would filter inland during the early hours, the conditions are perfect for snow to fall inland, need to check the updates later but i would expect there will be light snow for some across the SE early Wednesday.

-3c with a DP of -4c here. Freezing fog coming down quickly.

All about how low we can go tonight. Wouldn't be surprised to see a -8c perhaps a -10c somewhere in our region by dawn.
