A rather splendid 143 mm in April. Rather more than the 5mm we had in April 2011!

99.1 mm this April for me (177% of 1971-2000 average). A staggering 58 times more than last April (1.7 mm).

Well I managed to beat November 2009 total of 170mm, April's total came in at 184.6mm making it the wettest month since I started keeping records.

May has already notched up 48.2mm's

Well may so far has been fairly quiet on the rainfall front with just 2.6mm up to now. At least it's allowed me to get at the garden thankfully.

My station recorded 111.9mm rainfall for Warwick in April. (Interesting to note the amounts for Rugby and Coventry posted earlier in the thread.)

May has started off the same as April ended - more rain, 28mm in the first week.....

30.1mm

5 totally dry days this month, the 2nd of this month had 0.1mm

So here, since April finished, it hasn't been that wet at all, and it's been relatively sunny, especially compared to places down south (sun hours 48 hours, excluding today which is not finished)

I haven't posted stats for April yet, 168.4mm was the finishing number here. The wettest month since November 2009. Most of that fell in the 2nd half of April. We actually were missing much of the rain in the 1st part of the month, and over 125mm fell from the 23rd to the 30th inclusive!

Jan: 60.8mm

Feb: 29.2mm

Mar: 20.0mm

Apr: 168.4mm

May so far: 43.2mm

(totals from Davis weather station, except April which was corrected based on manual gauges as I had a few issues with Davis gauge.)

May so far: 39.2mm according to Davis VP2

We had some days with decent sun in the early part of May down here too, I don't think It's been too bad for sunshine here on most days, though I don't know where I can get sunshine statistics for my location?

Well after a very wet start for May it's looking like we're going to get stuck on 46.3 mm and 82% of average. 40.9 mm of that fell on three days. So certainly a switch back to dry weather. April means we're above average for the year though.

All eyes on summer. If hot and dry and it's going to mean problems for a lot areas if cool and dry not so much.

That was posted on 11th May and the May total is likely to end up at 73mm with some showery bursts up until the 19th.

Having had no dry day for 25 days until the 11th, no showers today makes this the 11th dry day in a row!

May = 73mm

Total = 312mm
