It may be pepping up a little again in wales but more showery?

Maybe this is the milder air coming in behind the colder air, or maybe thats when it will pep up?

I know I said it's snowing, but really it's a bit more like a sprinklng of salt on the car roof!

At my old house I had a nice carport to stand under and a good lamp post outside.......I could stand in comfort and watch it fall.

Here in my new house it's not so good.......no shelter and dodgy dazzling bright orange streetlights.

I shall go outside and try to find a way to enjoy it in comfort, as long as it hasn't stopped!

Snowing here, albeit very lightly for a hour now. There is an icy coating on the top of cars and a bit on my shed, but it looks to be petering out now, as others have pointed out

Just a heads up, I think we're all obsessed in the radar , Iv had a look on the nae 12 , and the bbc predicted ppn chart , they both show an intensification from 9 tonight , the bbc has a good defined line over us all at midnight, the nae also has a broadish area from midnight till 6am, so I think it's a case of patience?!

Hooray! The met office has just upgraded the snow forcast for this area. It had been showing light snow around midnight, but now it is showing heavy snow at 9pm and midnight with light snow at 3am! It's going to have cool down though, temp now up to 3 degrees and dew point is up to 0.8 degrees.

I can see I'm going to be up late tonight...

Some slight moistyness in the form of very light snow here in Basingstoke - although can't give any stats as my weather station has ceased to function :-)
