Leicester snow shield is working on full power right now! Snowing in Warwickshire (south of here), snowing in Stoke (North West of here) and snowing in Birmingham (West of here) but i've not even seen a flake here yet this evening!

Really? To me they use the very latest charts as they are MO employees.

I could be wrong, that's what the guys in the very serious model output forums have said though

Been snowing for atleast an hour in Kidderminster. Started to really pep up last 20 mins. If its snowing in Kiddy there is hope for everyone !! :)

Yep quite agree, we're much the same as you being 3 miles away, if we get snow were very very lucky, about time we got pasted :-)

For my location that warning is for ice, snow for East midlands

Well all the models say rain for my location and yet the met office has warnings for sleet and snow, not rain......who do I believe? Or should I just wait and see before committing to either rain or snow?

Here in Ashby its technically been snowing for 2 and half hours. However, at the rate of around 1 flake every 30 seconds, it's hard to tell.
