Light snow here in Heath Hayes and a light covering on all surfaces already. Does look to have perked up a bit in the last hour, hopefully a trend set to continue over the next hour or two.

Very wet 0·5 cm or so on grass, cars, few exposed bits of pavement, but most concrete is just wet. This heavier stuff is not helping because it's just turning everything wetter- the light stuff was what stuck.

Post from the North West here! Started off pretty pathetic then has picked up quite nicely now. Passing it over to you and considering Preston is virtually at sea level so you guys should get a nice covering. Enjoy.

Nothing here in Long Eaton yet sad.png Any idea whether I'm gonna get any and what tomorrows snow will be like for me?

I think you and I would probably see similar amounts, me being that bit further north but you further east. The fact the NW is getting snow bodes very well for the East Midlands, as our temps and dps are lower.

I think north Nottinghamshire (Mansfield/Newark) could be better placed though. I expect places like this could get quite a good covering. For us, probably 2-5cm, providing it does actually fall as snow.

Currently watching sheep on the TV awaiting the countryfile weather forecast which should be interesting :)

Snow has pepped up here, although I'd still class it as 'light'. Everything has a dusting on it now including the roads. Looking at the radar, not much left and a dusting is probably the best we're going to get...for now.

Lamp post showing getting heavier :-)

Should qualify this, it's still very light!
