Ok??? looks like its turning out to be a non-event country wide as to whats happening with this system.. reports on midlands thread of wet snow falling!! and by what the rain today radar is showing its starts of as snow then turns all sleety from here right upto leeds etc.. looks like the met/models could have this completly wrong uk wide.. so far!!

A friend who studies in Bradford is telling me it's snow there...

Work within Resillience, sounds like the line is going to be North of London, will start off as Snow slightly south but will eventually turn to heavy rain.

Looking at the latest radar, i can't see much snow for the SE, no more than a couple of cms i would say. The precip seems to be moving quite quickly and it's mostly light - with the odd moderate burst.

Where can i find the latest D.Ps ?? for the southeast

Don't think the amount of preciptation is the problem. Also its going to slow down and then stall in the North sea with the precip wrapping around Eastern England and the South east this evening and tonight

Looking over to the east , there is a lot of energy and cloud coming up through switzerland into germany . If we get that forecast easterly tomorrow , we could be in buisiness ! Any thought ?

Where did they put the line ?

Looked like it was the Northern edge of North West Kent. They also put me right on the Eastern edge of the area of snow tonight when the low wraps around. Damn it's going to be close for me!

Kent could do quite well from the wrap around low tonight!
