Guys quick question

I have just watched Nasaneen on sky weather and their radar indicated the wrap around which I understand but in the North Sea after that is a great big blob of white stuff. Is that likely to hit? The path of it looked like it was coming straight for the South East from the Dutch/ German coast. Am I reading this right?

All snow gone here now in Seaford E Sussex just rain rain bloody rain , feeling decidedly warmer too , very sad

Its gunna hit london in the next half an hour..

Probs hit kent in the next hour to 2 hours.

is this the first band to hit? As I thought it was not due until pm rush hour....

Scooting around the regions, it would appear that the NW radar is pretty damn accurate with the snow/sleet/rain distinction. With the green and blues encroaching ever further to the South, this is not splendid news for those of us south of the Thames for the next 2 - 3 hours.

Temp perked up markedly here in the last 30 mins - very little of our 1cm overnight left. Boo hiss.

We shall see.

My update car temp

Folkestone increased from 0.5 to 1

Sun is out

Back home car temp -0.5

Sun out

I told friends last week something but nothing at weekend

Snow Monday from 3pm

Wake to lots tues am

Hope I'm proved right

People take me so serious they rearranged Tuesday visits and took work home!

Temps remain below freezing here currently -0.4c

Overnight dusting of snow remains. Sun made a brief appearance earlier after a few flurries earlu morning. Now cloudy again but dry at present.

Very little of snow dusting left here now, melted very quickly in the last half hour. Looking forward to seeing what the next front brings.

right people expect the next hour to 90 mins to be exciting-

apart from the EXTREME west all PPN should be snow-

its then between 12-2 when the difficulty & fun begins- as the dewpoints rise we need to counteract them with the heavy PPN...

Looked like it was the Northern edge of North West Kent. They also put me right on the Eastern edge of the area of snow tonight when the low wraps around. Damn it's going to be close for me!

Kent could do quite well from the wrap around low tonight!

So in other words my area is 50-50 for snow/rain? As I'm as far north west in Kent as you can get, if that's right then I can see Essex Herts bucks and North London doing well :-)
