Temp is indeed dropping here as well

Temp 1.4c from 1.9c

Dewpoint -0.8c

All snow by the looks of things and yes would love this band to slow the hell down as it seems to have got a shifty on!

Agree a definate SW Shift last frame!

I'm not so sure Steve, I think there's a chance the eastern third of Greater London could see some. It's heading SSW imo.

Hope you are right!

What do you think the ETA is if it pulls off?

Looks like there's a trough developing towards E Scotland/NE England at the moment

Yes, what amazes me as we get closer to these events, it seems other little bands of showers/troughs can pop up at short notice, its all to play for in the coming days, Snow Showers, Snow tonight for those Eastern areas & then Very cold days and Bitter Nights until the end of the week (at least!) , hardly boring :-) Welcome to winter, S- Easterners!

Heavy snow and accumulating rather quick. Radar looking good 90+ minutes of snow for areas East of Chelmsford :)
