So they contain a bit of roughage

What's all this talk of tesco burgers when we have an amazing snow event on our doorstep.

Anyway I prefer my Lidl pony acute.gif

But the BBC weather says —3º/or 4 at 6:00am tomorrow and 0ºC during daylight?

WTF??? Last night it was —15ºC in parts of Suffolk. Why overplay the temperatures?

I presume you mean why do the bbc overplay temps?

I think they may be working from data that is already out of date, I still have 2-3cms of snow in the middle of my garden and the temp in my car today never got above -1.5.

Either that, or they haven't got a clue of course!?

Alex Dolan says UP TO 10cm of snow Friday/Saturday. Still think that's very conservative.

Showed snow on Fri, Sat and Mon on the Look East 5 day forecast.

Edit: Just clocked that ECM run above, wowsa, that would be something special!

Is it beyond of the realms of possibility that the UK could see -20c uppers and such? Or does being an island help? Sorry if a noob question, it's just that may be a little too cold for me lol help.gif

I have no idea why he said that! I suspect he will change his forecast by the same time tomorrow.

I'm not sure we have or will see -20 850's on these shores but -20 at ground level has been achieved before, more than once.
