Weird how the snow fizzles just before the m25! Im back in Watford for the week.

Most likely wouldn't

I think as the front approaches it will hit the one already stalled aiding in given heavier snowfall but still not effecting the block.

Incidentally, latest NAE is a lot better for much of this region vs 12z, with the heavier parts of the snowfall across us for some 18hrs:

13011818_2_1718.gif13011900_2_1718.gif13011906_2_1718.gif

Still nothing hugely intense (indicated intensity there is 1-2cm per 6 hrs, though not entirely sure that will be accurate) but better than it has been, and getting better with each run

SK

Nope I have a heavy part over me! Might actually do well from this one!

Need the blob in Norwich to cover the ice on the paths!

Think your wish may come true! Looking at NW Extra Radar, a piece is developing to the south of Norwich!

Just a nice quick dusting mind you. That'll do as a nice little bonus, wasn't expecting anything tbh tonight!

Yes looking better than a couple of days ago when it was struggling to even reach our Region.

Seems to have a better tilt, thus giving us more precipitation.good.gif

Got to drive to Wivenhoe at 6am....going to be interesting!

Children are going home at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon or earlier depending on the situation in the morning. First ever time the schools around here have decided to close the school earlier before snow has even arrived. My brother said that the information they receive regarding the weather comes from a local weather centre that has direct links to the MetOffice...is that an omen?

BBC -some places could be cut off

never ever heard them say that before.

Must admit a very good forecast by the beeb there, got across the severity very well, even a mention of these showers we have atm in EA continuing into tomorrow morning! Top notch.

Some very light snow in Norwich now !! Oh no not more !!

Yes! To last a while and could add another couple of cm's tonight. As I say above, showers could continue through the night. Very slow moving, too.

According to BBC forcast, looks like the North Sea snow machine is going to join in the festivities this weekend - this is getting good!
