Looking at the radar everything seems to be going to plan.

Just want to highlight this for Sunday because the GFS keeps predicting this.

Heavy snow moving NW during Sunday afternoon into the evening. Could be rather marginal for those right on the E coast though.

The infamous blob is getting quite angry. Ipswich part is moving north west and growing in intensity quite quickly. Norfolk segment seems to be mostly moving WNW.

I get the feeling that this could set in for many for the rest of the night, could have several centimetres in places before the main event help.gifgood.gif

The snow is getting quite heavy here now, though the snow is quite fine and powdery

Yes, that feature has appeared on a number of successive runs now. GFS seems to think it will be all snow at the moment; definitely worth keeping an eye on!

Dave, maybe it is me worrying from being in similar situations before! But that snow that has built all day, and then stalled about 20 miles away from me! What are the chances of the front tomorrow stalling in the same postion?

Good luck all, suspect I'll log off now until tomorrow morning, more likely tomorrow afternoon. I'm working the 5pm till 9/10pm shift tomorrow at work... Could be interesting getting there. laugh.png

have you got any gut feeling for us here tonight/tomorrow?

i'm in two minds.i really really want to see deep snow but i am due at the Paget tomorrow and don't really want to cancel. And I still haven't received some important documents I'm waiting for and afraid they might get lost in the postal system if not delivered.

Would you guys mind stating you location with each post. When viewing forum on iPhone it doesn't state locations from your profile. Would like to know "are you getting it" :-)

Why are some surprised?

I mentioned this snow moving in from the E yesterday afternoon in my update, albeit I expected it to be lighter and more patchy.

If only they would use a snowplough! Parts of the A47, A11 and inner ring road were shocking today, with two hour delays on the A146. God knows what chaos is going to ensue over the weekend and into Monday!
