I think nearer the time we will see some red warnings, if only to keep people of the roads.

Very possible.

Only possible concern with latest output today is for the undercut to be slower and a slightly stronger shortwave to are SW, im hoping its either weaker or further south on next runs :), but overall still looking good.

Hi BM4PM as Barry says things are looking marginal for Plymouth but it looks as though things have moved very slightly SW since last night. I dont want to give you false hope but things change from hour to hour in these situations.

See what the other more experienced posters have to say.

No snow forecast for Cornwall but I would just like to point out there wasn't for Sunday and I still saw a flurry.....I am an eternal optimist! All I mean is you just never know! God am I setting myself up for a fall! ;-)

With further developments that will happen it could very well end up being worse in certain locations, going to be a exciting day of model watching.

This is how it looks at the moment. All rain event for Cornwall except for the far east of the county and high ground. Snow to rain event for Devon with some accumulations everywhere and some decent accumulations in the east of the county and over higher ground. Sweet spot will be Somerset, Dorset , Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and western Hampshire with an all snow event. Good accumulations here with 10cm widely and 15cm over hills. It will probably change and my feeling is that if anything there will be a westward shift and possibly less snow than currently predicted.

Yes one thing to remember is this is still a developing situation , I think all us guys will do well, I'm a bit nervous hearing its pulling away from the mids , but then again it's spreading east to our south, and west to our north, hence London in the frame aswell as NI

I totally agree with you Divadee, the midlands often does well for snow. West Devon and Cornwall havent seen snow for such a long time, they even missed out last Feb, it would be lovely for them to get a little something. Peeps on the MOD thread are calling it a non-event because 15-20cm is now 5cm. I would love to get 5cm, as im sure many in the forum would. After all its rude to be greedy.
