Surprisingly perhaps, First is still running buses between Kidderminster and Bewdley/Stourport. I'm actually quite impressed by that. The 292 over Clee Hill isn't running, though... :p

In Tamworth at the moment it is still coming down persistent light/moderate fall.

Roughly 10cm on the ground, can see some drifts on rooftops! very unusual never seen anything like this before as im a mere 21 yrs of age.

Long may it continue but hope transport isnt too badly affected!

Yep, coming down properly here too, much larger flakes, but still only about 20p size

Yes unbelievably it looks like it may be pepping up a bit on the raintoday radar, still looks like plenty more for west mids over next few hours.

Id suggest Sunday's front is looking good for the SE, London and potentially the east midlands. Un-sure on westward content.

Wish it had been an overnighter so that schools would have closed from the start and people wouldn't have risked getting stranded at work. Husband's trying to get home now despite venturing out this morning after all my warnings. He doesn't believe me now after so many false alarms :-) Roads are very slippery in Polesworth now and some of the hills are impossible. It's only going to get worse as there's still so many people on the roads picking their kids up and trying to get home. Looking forward to when everyone's home safe and sound and can play over the weekend - wheeeeeeeeeee!

Steady heavy snow, it's intensified in the last half hour. Currently -2.4oC. Haven't been out to measure the snow again but it has to be in excess of 11 cm by now, maybe more.

I must be under one of those more intense radar pulses as its hoofing it down now with bigger flakes at a good rate!

Looks like hours more from the Netweather radar, but the heaver parts seem to intensify out of no where...

Currently

heavy snow in Kiddy/Worcestershire edging north (but not much),

A band south/East of Brum (Cov Leamington, Warwick, Reddich)

Both slowly edgeing north but due to the pivot that seems to have slowed, and if anything may end up heading south later... not sure just what it looks like on Radar...

It's starting to pivot now on the radar, heavy blob over Worcestershire which isn't moving.........

The good news is they are letting us finish work at 2 but really not looking forward to the journey home roads look bad! What's the score for the snow round here then (telford) a few more hours?

Heaviest snow of the day here, bucketing it down now - thank goodness I booked a half day!

Drive back home at lunchtime was a bit of a mare, my house is at the top of a hill, almost didn't make it, wheels spinning everywhere.

Temperature seems to be falling quickly as well, now -2.8C
