Just ran the NW radar through an animation, could be good for a couple of hours of snow I reckon for parts of Cambs and Essex and perhaps Northants.

Ben run the radar on Sawbridgeworth. It's been bizarre how snow has missed us here today and this evening.

Just ran your location through the past 8 hours on the V4 5 minute radar. Was really suprised with the heavier precipitation only about 10 miles to your south this afternoon, your location remaining in the lighter precipitation virtually throughout. No idea why this is the case, hopefully better luck for you either tonight or on Sunday!

Ben now look at the PPN over past few hours its missing this location to the North East now, it's literally couple of miles of way a line of snow again.

Yes the streamer is only a couple of miles to your north! Hopefully more PPN heads a little southwards for you!

Snow intensity increasing again in central Peterborough now. I had stopped almost completely apart from the odd flake, but quite a lot of flakes now falling - not big at moment, but accumulating on cars which had been cleared. Looks like there may be more from the South East heading this way.

Heavier ppn seems to be moving up from Kent a bit quicker now. Time for Suffolk to get in on today's event or will this head off in a different direction or fizzle out again?!

the flow should swing a little more easterly overnight. if the 'streamer' continues, that will pivot more nw of where it currrently sits. i suspect it will peter out anyway as the wind changes direction. good luck to those of you under it at the moment, you were certainly frustrated earlier today.
