Snow much heavier in wareham now with bigger flakes! Its so quiet outside, you'd think it was middle of night!

About 3 inches laying here. Still snowing moderately to heavy at times.

Is it still forecast to clear by midday?

Wind seems to be picking up and snow just getting heavier and heavier. Anyone needing to hit the road in the South Glos area, I would say don't bother!

im supposed to be travling to swindon but have heared that old sodbury has been closed, think ill leave it a bit and see if it improves

On way to petersfield, reckon it will be heavier away from Portsmouth, snowing here not settling well as ground wet but the main burst is yet to come

Morning all!!

Well, I have to say I was a little concerned before I went to sleep last night as the snow was falling, but no settlement. I even had a dream that I woke up and looked out of the window to nothing....

However, my concerns were unfounded....

Its that beautiful slight where you can't tell which is the road and which is the pavement, the steps accross the road have merged into one and I can't see out of the back windows because the wind has covered them in snow!!

About 6 cms now, perhaps a bit more and still falling.... things are good!!

Exeter is in Devon, it's been snowing around the edge of the city though on elevations argh!

Is your dish covered with snow? The last time my dish got plastered it stop working until it cleared it!

That hill is a pain to drive up normally let alone when it's affected by snow. Then again I do only have a Ka.

Hi Mattser, yeah I would play it safe. Just back from Asda, Patchway and the Mall area is terrible. Not many people on the roads so the snows just going to pile up!

My sky tv is fine and the sky outside is even better ;-)

sky is working here fine in Gosport, but get a broom and run over the dish, thats what Ive done in the past.

Snow getting heavier here now and settling well.
