Afternoon, its snowing lovely here in Barnsley Small flakes but moderate/heavy and blowing quite a bit in the wind :) expecting a few hours of this and possibility of getting heavier into the night

WoWzers, i hope it keeps this up, horizontal heavy snow thats even settling on the main road thats turned orange from over gritting last night.

Now the flakes are getting chunkier, GET IN.

So long as this front carries on pivoting then i think that Hull and York will begin to get hammered in the next few hours as the showers just stream over them.

I must admit I had lost faith this morning after seeing the front fizzle out. However it does appear to be gaining strength whilst moving north towards us.

The shower band is moving further inland, its just the orientation thats keeping them from you/

How heavy is it likely to get in Leeds and how long will it last? Sadly, the wife wants me to go for dinner with her so i'll miss the fun tonight.Could it possibly still be going tomorrow so i can leg it down to the park in the morning?
