Can't someone who's got netweather extra get the 24hour accumulated precip and post it. Thatl give the best idea of who got what.

Aside from that seems strange not having an area of snow to keep an eye on. Hopefully something might show up :D

Not as cold as I thought this morning. I was expecting -4 or so, but it's a balmy -1.1C. Maybe it's because we are on the western edge of the real cold, but the low temperatures forecast, for me in this location, have not materialised. We are in a frost hollow too.

Just started snowing very lightly here again in Stoke.

Yeah looks decent on raintoday, quite a big area of light snow over N midlands, hopefully with me soon

So is there gonig to be any more snow for the west midlands this weekend???

I had massive icicles Dec 2010, under clear blue skies and freezing cold

This isn't close for me yet, but with more snowfall potential it could past it snow wise

I'm not sure anything will be as cold as Dec 2010 for a very long time. -14 here one morning that is immense

Yeah, I've seen that too. Looking like it may intensify in about an hour for an hour or two, maybe even more?

Not seeing the potential for next week? Can anyone clarify?

Snow risk map on here looks promising, not sure how accurate it is though. Seemed to be spot on for yesterday and today so far from Wednesday last week. Maybe some more tomorrow afternoon and also Monday.

I'm happy with any outcome now I feel I have had my fair share good.gif

Need another fairly large snowfall here for it to be anything out of the ordinary (based on the last 3-4 years)......

Its been a long time since temps are due to be freezing or below for the coming week, and fronts from different directions so sounds interesting and I hope my comments change over the next few days. You cannot get enough snowfall clapping.gif

I cleaned the car at 8.30pm last night and now there is a decent covering on the windows again, so we must have had a genuine 10-11cms of snow around this neck of the woods by this morning.

Just had some heavy snizzle. Sky looks very promising for snow.

I saw a break in the clouds here, even a glimpse of blue, but someone reported rain in Derby! I remeasured the snow depth, though it has consolidated down a bit I came up with a figure of 12 cm , so I woukd be happy to quote 15 cm after it first fell.
