Looks like my mindset of expecting nothing is paying off!

Where are you and are you getting snow. Is it pitching?

Just a flying visit from the West Mids thread. It looks great on the radar for those in Gloucester, Ross and, shortly, Hereford - is anyone in the Gloucester-Ross-Hereford triangle willing to pop onto the West Mids thread and let us know how things are where you are please?

Gained about 1cm in 2 hours.

Snow changes from light to heavy, small to big flakes.

Roads are white, grass is white again.

Looks like its easing on the radar, however NAE predicts it lasts all night, so who knows it if will build again..

The radar showing darker blue colours over us but nothing falling from the sky ...

Can't understand why that is happening around here, the dew points are the same as the places getting the snow. Any ideas anyone?

I'm starting to feel a bit silly taking the mick out of the Met Office forecast now, they might have been correct after all!

Thanks for popping over, Lynxus, the radar suggests you're in the sweet spot at present.

...and the minute I post to say I may have been wrong to scoff at the Met Office for forecasting an overcast night with no snow, they change it and add light snow to our forecast for the first half of the night!

Surely if the NAE is to believed then this whole system as it pivots should intensify( which it currently is looking at the current radar) and should be producing snow albeit lighter tomorrow pretty much all day. Fingers crossed any how's.

Aye, cmon Villa! I'm a Leicester fan so you wouldn't normally hear that from me but i've put £15 on Villa to win at full time and £5 on them to go into the next round.
