Lol I thought it was all over. Just head a lovely heavy burst. Gonna have to re-measure in a bit!

The precip is definitely back building and heading west

If that stuff over Belgium arrives down the estuary could well be another 20cm from Kent to west Surrey

What about essex?

Err weren't you saying that the army were going to be called in on Friday and then saying we were having blizzards earlier today?! I will refrain from putting you on ignore purely for entertainment value.

Surrey has earned every right to be talked about in the same breath as John Pike and Steve Murr

He said that the precip would back build and head back west again and looks like he has called it spot on

credit where credit is due but in all honesty, its doing exactly what it was forecast to do by the met office, plus it extended over towards wales at its northern extent

Yep, can confirm still moderate snowfall here in on Wallington/Purley border - I feel blessed. If I didn't need some sleep I'd be off to the pub with the big windows again, but it's been an exhausting few days...

No idea, need Steve, John or Surrey to give their take on it tbh but everything seems to be back building and shifting west

shok.gif Nice! Thats 5cm more than me in Broadstairs.

Good old Broadstairs. I'd love to be in the Tartare Frigate now with a glass of red looking out over the beach. 3.7 inches here at The Bridge and the odd flake still wafting apologetically down. A nice layer in the West End earlier today too.
