Erm well il see you at my spelling class when your going into your geography class. . . ! And I knew that's what you had done , so quick to jump on the band wagon hey?!!

Anyways whatever it shows , the likelihood is it will be gone in the morning !

There's always one!.....lol

Yep, it'll almost certainly change between now and morning, never known it so uncertain at such a short time scale

Interesting as that is 6.00pm on Wednesday. Cant remember Ian mentioning anything for later Wednesday, unless NAE has spotted a new trend.

This is the total accumulations between now and 48 hours out.

Ian said more likely ppn for Tuesday eve onwards for more northern parts of region.

But so much uncertainty, still, almost an impossible system to forecast it seems!! I'll prob just stick with the Radar and reports now.

Felt abit chilly so went upstairs to get my jimjams on. Looked out of my bedroom window to see a lovely clear starry sky. Also noticed snow still on the roof of my car. Its been driven out and about the last few days and today I drove on roads at 50-60 mph but the snow still clings on!

Has been interesting travelling about during this cold spell

Some cars bombing down motorway are clear, but the occasional one will have a dump of snow on it's roof

Won't take much alterations for this slider to hit us surely?

Whats the time scale?

I am no expert, but the NAE suggests interest for our region begins late afternoon early evening. Awaiting next frame impatiently!!

I like... To be fair.. anyone's guess.. buy if something is going to fall from the sky.. i think it will be snow from Wiltshire up.. as our snow cover at least keeps temps low...

I like that chart though....

Things are much more marginal now. Can't even get the temperature down to 0C tonight. Close to plus 1 in a light Southerly damp feeling wind...rain anyone.

Whereas 10-12 miles from you it's crystal clear, moonlit and almost down to -2c making it the lowest since the cold spell started! Finally a clear night to allow the temp to drop.

People need to chill out about tomorrow and let it unfold through the day ; now casting via radar watching, temp/dew point reading and reports from the region.

just above freezing here 0.1C and light rain / sleet. Dew Points must be high, feels less cold

looks like early chance of snow on the moor tonight

Would make for a very boring forum fella. It's what we do isn't it?

To me the radar seems very good at min. Stuff developing ahead of the main band a bit
